Recently my life got turned upside down. After a few months of declining health and doctors trying to finding a root cause. I received a heartbreaking diagnosis. I have cancer in my colon, which has already spread to my liver and lungs. And due to the cancer’s advanced stage, they won’t be able to cure me.

In this new journaling series I will share my thoughts and experiences in my new daily life fighting cancer. I noticed that writing helps me gather my thoughts. And it might be a good async way to keep folks up to date on how I’m doing.

I am still determining how often I will post, how long my posts will be, and how personal I will make each update. As a disclaimer: the posting frequency will not be a good indicator of how I’m doing. As I already learned the hard way: Energy is a resource you can only spend once.
